Compellent SC8000 Direct Connection to server(s)

Hello everyone,

We have two servers with two single port 16 Gbit FC HBA in each. We want to connect these servers directly to SC8000 Storage. is it possible and supported connectivity on SC8000? Dell says that SC8000 supports only through SAN switch connectivity. I am not able to believe this..

And is there any supported connectivity guide for SC8000 storage?
