Compellent - SAP, AIX (pSeries) and DB2 .... oh my!

We are looking at the Compellent line for SAN storage for a replacement SAN, I've read over the technote documents for AIX and DB2 that are in the Wikis page, but those are a little old (2013)...

I'm curious if anyone is using the Compellent in the method that we would be looking to do it, and your thoughts.

We would be looking at the SC8000 and the FS8600(?), and using live volume to sync the data between remote controller heads.

We currently do boot from SAN (fibre) for the pSeries running AIX lpars, with everything residing on the SAN.  It works very well for us today with our current solution, but the lease is running up and we have a complete forklift replacement coming with no good migration path ( YAY for 7-mode to C-Mode NetApp upgrades... ).

So, just looking for thoughts and comments on this, we have not made anywhere near a final decision yet on what vendor we will be going with for SAN V-Next, and to be honest hadn't really even given Dell much thought until our sales tech rep brought in some guys to discuss it with us...

Thanks all, look forward to reading your thoughts/comments.
