it's not clear to me yet how compellent algorithm allocates disks to arrays. given the following, how many more disks can fail before an array fails and data is lost?
Is there a safe way to delete the bad disks and shrink the total amount of storage space while retaining data redundancy? No longer need this large amount of storage but still need to preserve the content that is in use.
