7610 Firmware Update Fails

Getting this error when trying to update a 7610. Tried both from command line in the group CLI and also via the update manager. NFS export netmask 255.255.255.255 for path /Default/nim_export is out of range. Prefix form of this netmask should be in range 1..31. Any help is greatly appreciated Troy

Most likely, the NFS export in question has certain access limitations you configured. Something like only such and such subnet can access this export. In Equallogic Group Manager open the export's properties and make sure the netmask is NOT 255.255.255.255. That would be /32 netmask whereas the Equallogic firmware update guide states it should be between 128.0.0.0 or /1 and 255.255.255.254 or /31. The firmware update guide says the following about this error: Check the validity of an NFS Export ACE regarding the Subnet netmask: • Netmask is not 255.255.255.255 • Netmask is a flat network (not 255.0.255.0)
