Virtual Volumes

Question

Hi All,

I am finally getting around to learn about VVOLs on my EQL Array. I created a 10TB SC but it tells me that the logical size is 100TB and under vSphere it's capacity shows 100TB?

Can someone please explain this to me, and also is there good docs to read up on EQL and VVOLs.

I have read the standard documents i could find but if there is more that would be good.

Thanks for the info, i have been working with EQL since the Nashua HQ days but first time dealing with VVOLs. I will review the documents since i did not know about the other iSCSI NOOP value. I did get it setup but i may need a better switch since when i did a mass deployment of VMs it did not seem faster than using a reg datastore.

This array is out of support given to me for my home lab and to upgrade from my PS100e, i was doing my testing on a template but i think i will create a proper template and do more testing. Not in a rush but just trying to improve my EQL skills.
