Replication PS6100 x PS 4100
Friends,
I need some guidance, I have a few volumes that need to replicate them from one storage PS6100 to another PS4100 but do not know which adopt strategy, have a virtual environment with vSphere 5.0 with iSCSI with PS6100 and parallel environment with vSphere 6.0 with iSCSI the PS4100, can someone give me a hand? I intend that replication is only between storages ...

Hello,
- depending on your vSphere Licenses there is "vSphere Replication"
- If you have a smart Software like Dell vRanger & Replication or Veeam B&R you can replicate VMs on a very granular way. Only the "source" hosts need to be licensed
- If both of your EQLs living in there own groups you can use EQLs Replication on Volume level. Easy to setup
- If you VSM installed you can replicated VMs(volumes) or Volumes too but also in a more consistend manner because VSM try to create a quiesced VMware Snapshot.
Regards,
Joerg
