PS6510E Channel Card Issues
I'm getting these errors and my array crashed today after both channel cards failed. After hard boot both cards came up healthy, now the cards are 0 - unknown and 1 - healthy. Controllers are Type 10's running 9.1.2.

Maybe someone else can benefit from our disaster.......
Starting a few weeks ago there are errors in the log stating channel card failure 0 and channel card failure 1, they seemed to come on and off at random intervals with no messages relating to an error on the actual controller/s. The unit ended up crashing when it "lost" both channel cards. The array lost about 10 drives and both channel cards according to the logs which took the unit offline. After rebooting it was stable for 6 hours and crashed again. This is when we replaced the channel cards one at a time and the "faulty" drives. The unit crashed again and we rebooted. The console stated the array was lost and could not be recovered. We rebooted once more and we were powered up to the secondary controller this time, at this point the array began rebuilding. We pulled the other controller and we have been online for roughly 48 hours with a healthy array.
The FIX here is that the array reported errors with the channel card when the issue was the controller.
