PS5000 3.3.1 firmware upgrade. Where can I download?

Hello everyone,

I recently acquired a Dell PS5000 SAN which is on firmware version 3.3.1(R68703). I am hoping someone can assist me with downloading or tracking down the firmware to get it up to the last supported firmware (7.x.z). I currently have another PS5000 running the last supported firmware and am unable add my newly acquired SAN to the group due to the firmware differences.

Unfortunately Dell no longer has any firmware below 5 for download.

Any help much appreciated!

Hello Curtis,

The firmware is still available but only for arrays that are under contract. The software is licensed, not purchased. No one else can legally provide you with the firmware. When you download the firmware you acknowledge the EULA agreement which has the restriction of only installable on arrays under contract or warranty.
