Move VVOLs from orphaned vCenter to new vCenter

I have a few VVOLs (on a PS6110) that were previously used with one vCenter instance.  Unfortunately, that vCenter instance was upgraded to version 6.7 which currently isn't supported with VSM 4.7.  I'd like to somehow export the vm's in the storage container/datastore to another datastore.  If someone has a suggestion how to easily do that I'd appreciate it.

In the meantime I've setup a temporary vCenter 6.5/ESXi 6.5 instance.  I was hoping to reinstall VSM there giving me back access to the VVOLs.  I successfully reinstalled VSM and configured it with the temporary vCenter.  I can create new VVOL datastores, however, I cannot see the existing one I need access to.  Does anyone know how I can grant access to the new ESX server?

Thanks

Hello,

One question.  When you created the new v6.5 VCS you said you can create new VVOLs.  Is that in a new VVOL Datastore or the old one with the VMs you want to migrate?

If you created a new VVOL Datastore, you can try using the "Add Storage" option in VCS to reconnect to the old VVOL Datastore.

I hadn't.  I had tried only the rescan option.  After your suggestion I went to the flash client -> Storage -> Datacenter -> "New Datastore."  The VVOL Storage Container I was looking for showed up there!  All I had to do was browse files and re-register the VM's.  Thanks for your help!
