Migrating from old SAN to new SAN

Question

Hello. I was hoping someone could point me to a white paper or a Dell procedure as I do not think this is an uncommon situation.

I have a PS6500 I need migrated to a new PS6210. I am using VMware with three hosts and I need to move the whole kit and caboodle to this new SAN. Any procedures out there so I am not piecing together bits of online posting suggestions?

Thanks for the information. I still have gig switches and may upgrade them after the fact to 10GbE. Our environment is not very intensive, mostly file sharing.
