large receive offload, what is current recommendation?
Like the subject says, what is the current recommendation for large receive offload? Enabled or disabled?
Per TR1091 it seems the recommendation to use LRO was removed in the last update and there's no mention of it.
In the MEM user guide though, page 15 says Dell recommends disabling it and it's part of the bestpratices flag.
If I check the Compellent documents, I don't see any mention of it really.
So is LRO still supposed to be disabled and is it a EQL only recommendation?
And speaking of MEM, if I only have 1 member per group, is there any advantage to installing MEM or if I set the delayed ack, and iops/RR stuff manually it accomplishes the same thing?
Thanks

Thanks Don.
Do you have any idea under what conditions LRO helps? If I turn it back on ,would I see a difference in latency, throughput? If I stop disabling LRO on new hosts, I want to know what to look for to see if my workload was benefiting from the the option.
As for the multiple multiple vmdk/scsi adapters, do you know if it still applies in version 6? Per this post, it seems like multiple controllers may not be required anymore but it's not very clear.
