jit debugging error when trying to do a reinstall of Dell SAN headquarters
Dell Equalogic SAN HQ 3.2.1
It lost it's connection so I was trying to do a repair on the client and it won't get past the "jit" debugging error. I need to get this back online ASAP.
How do I solve this?
Thanks in advance, Tom

Hi Tom,
can you give some more information.
1. What is the OS for the system you are running SAN HQ on? 2008 R2? 2012? Other? (Note: V3.2.1 of SAN HQ is only supported on 2012 or 2016! )
2. How did you get to V3.2.1 of SAN HQ. Was it a fresh install? or update?
3. Sounds like you have both Client & Server SHQ installed. Are they the same version of SHQ? A
4. Are both systems running the same server OS? (from question 1)
5. Can you give a screenshot of the error?
6. If this is just a 'client' instance, can you un-install & re-install? If you do that, I recommend that you always install SAN HQ from the Admin or Domain Admin account. 'Run as...' installs tend to have permission issues.
Can I recommend that if you have a 2012 or 2016 system handy, that you install our latest SAN HQ on it instead?

2008 R2 server
It had been working fine, not sure what happened, but it can't connect now.
Yes, both are on the same server

"disconnected from default server" when I open Dell Storage Manager. Maybe a better question is how to get it to connect to the "default server"?? That is what started me down the road for a reinstall.

Okay, that's the issue. V3.2.1 won't run correctly on a 2008 R2 server. I would bet that you updated from a prior version, and it worked for a while.
You can go back to V3.0.2, which is the last version to support 2008 R2. Or install 2012 somewhere.
OR - Here is the list of supported systems for V3.3.1 of SAN HQ
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit operating systems)
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit operating systems)
Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit operating systems)
Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit operating systems)
Microsoft Windows Server 2016 (64–bit operating system)
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 (64-bit operating system)
SAN HQ does not have to be installed on a server. You can put it on a laptop, and run it just fine. It just needs to be able to reach the storage group over the network, and it would be best if the PC/Laptop is up 24x7x36, so you don't lose data, or miss an alert.
Good luck!
