Hyper-V cluster CSV allocation unit size
Hi. Is there any Dell recommendation when it comes to allocation unit size of NTFS volumes that will be serving as CSVs (Cluster Shared Volumes) in a Hyper-V cluster?
Using EQL LUNs in the background apparently.
Should we go with the default that Windows uses (based on the volume/LUN size) or should we use something different to optimize performance, for example 64kB?
CSV will be storing virtual machines with various workloads, nothing specific such as pure SQL or web servers etc.
Thanks in advance.
