how to locate the part number for a disk drive on equallogic
new to Dell EqualLogic management and need to know how to locate the "part number" of a drive

Hello,
There are many part numbers for the various drives used in Equallogic arrays. If you are trying to get one third party they should be able to help you via array model number, drive speed and interface. E.g. NL-SAS or SAS.
Just note that OEM drives will not work with Equallogic arrays. They are specific to the Equallogic arrays.
