HIT Kit 5.3 and 1.7
I see new releases but no mention of Windows Server 2019, is it just not listed or did it not make it? What about ESXi 7.0? Or are these releases just for migrating to new hardware and not supporting any new OS?

Hello,
re: Windows 2019. No. It does not support it. Another version is expected later this summer to support 2019. This has some fixes and support for FW 10.0.3 and importing EQL data into the new PowerStore line.
re: MEM v1.7. Same as above. Fixes and PowerStore support.
Re: ESXi v7.0. There are no published plans to officially support ESXi v7.0 with the Dell PS Series SANs.
Regards,
Don

Hello,
It hasn't been certified on 2019 so if you have issues, support will be very limited.
So there is no way to say what will and won't work long term.

Don

I am in the same boat - I have been waiting YEARS for 2019 support. This is extremely disappointing.
Now, I do understand development was pushed to August due to COVID-19 and such. However, it would go A LONG WAY to let us know this and to at least explain why in the world it has taken so long (even before stay-at-home orders).
I did install this on a 2019 rig and so far, operation looks good. It is great to see MPIO working as it should. I assume ASM and such are probably at issue for 2019, thus no official support...
Are there any notes as to functionality now? What would we NOT get if we were to push this to our 2019 rigs?

I imagine most feel that way, I guess large companies don’t have a big investment in EQL so there is no fire to get updates out faster. Wish I’d have gone the Compellent route Instead, maybe their getting more attention. I’ve got 6 EQL enclosures that was a huge investment for a small mom and pop application hosting company.

same here. Huge disappointment. Considering not to buy any other Dell product. As they may do same with other products, not support it or just simply leave out (stop selling even spare products).
Dell had let down its customers who had invested in Equallogic.
