Hello Tom,

This forum is for the Equallogic AKA Dell PS Series SAN.  Not the idrac controller.

I found this link.  https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=krcxx

But if you go to support.dell.com and put in the Service tag is should get you a list of supported drivers and firmware.

Regards,

Don

Hi Don and Dell Community,

I tried looking for the upgrade instructions in the documentation section when we download the firmware. But could not find any specifics of what earlier versions can be upgraded to the version that we are downloading. I want your help to confirm that I am not looking at the right web page/documentation. In this case, we are looking to get to 2.75.75.75 of the iDRAC LC Controller. The current version is 2.61.60.60. There are multiple versions in between and we are trying to understand what is the right path to get to the target version. The documentation page I have been looking at is Support for iDRAC8 with Lifecycle Controller version 2.75.75.75 | Documentation | Dell US.

We also have the BIOS and Network firmware that needs to be upgraded and would like to know how to identify the correct upgrade path. Please point me out to the right resource which will help determine the path.

Thanks and Regards,

Tom Pinto.

Hi Tom,

You can jump straight to the latest version for the iDRAC and most likely for the BIOS and network firmware. It should say in the release notes on the download page if there is an exception to this, I can check if you you know which versions and which server model.
