Failed disk,remove alert/alarm
Hey all, I have quite a weird request/question.
I have a PS6110 with a failed disk using RAID 50.Currently I'm getting the following warning.
I know that RAID 50 expects 2 spare drives and that's the reason I'm getting that but is there a way to acknowledge that warning? Disable the disk completely?
I just want to get rid of this alert which is basically not that important for me.
This storage is not in a production environment, out of warranty and basically only going to be there for the coming weeks/months.

Hello,
The screenshot hasn't shown available yet. I am going to assume the error is "More Spares expected" Until you add in the new replacement spare that error will continue. Once you get it replaced, you should probably convert to RAID6 for better redundancy.

It will always on alarm/notification because that disk is part if the RAID. You should replaced the drive and do not wait for another drive to be failed.
