EqualLogic Type 11 Controller - Error - out of space in kmem_map - How to fix?
Good Morning All,
I am having an issue with my 07V250 Type 11 Controller - recently noticed a Health Condition warning stipulating the below;
panic:malloc: out of space in kmem_map,
I am unsure what this means, however I have a feeling it is SD Card related, is there any way to fix this?
Any help would be gladly appreciated,
Thanks,
Nick

Hello,
No this does not relate to physical space on the SD card or array. That in internal memory. What EQL firmware are you currently running?

Hello,
That's the HW BIOS, not the EQL firmware. In the GUI under MEMBER->Controllers it shows the firmware.
Or at the CLI you can run: GrpName>show members
I suspect it's an older revision of firmware, and it's been running for a long time?
One thing you can try is, serial connect into the SECONDARY or passive controller. Do a restart. Then when is reconnects to the active controller, wait 30 seconds and restart the PRIMARY controller to failover.

Don
