Equallogic PS4100 - multiple subnet iSCSI
Hi,
We are currently running a hyper-v cluster where each hosts has two NIC's for iSCSI-traffic.
One NIC is on the "10.240.0"-subnet and the other is on the "10.240.1"-subnet.
Our current storage is Fujitsu Eternus and it works fine with the "dual subnet"-setup.
We now want to integrate our old Equa PS4100-box into this setup but from what I can tell it doesn't support a multiple subnet iSCSI-setup.
Can anyone confirm this and if so, is there a way around the problem?
Thanks in advance,
Br, / Johan

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately there are no more NIC's available so we're kinda stuck.
What would happen if we were to multi-home the iSCSI NIC's on the hosts?
For example: We give both NIC's an additional IP on a new subnet, let's say "10.240.10" and then setup the PS4100 to use that network.
Regards,
Johan
