EqualLogic 10Gb

I am posting this in a few places in hopes of a quick and knowledgeable response. We have 4 EqualLogic PS6000, all 1Gb. We are bringing in our first PS6210 10Gb. The issue is we have Cisco Nexus 3K and only have 10Gb uplink ports.

So should we plug the new PS6210 in to the uplink ports at 10Gb or plug them in to the 1Gb standard ports?

The info we have found seems to say no but it seems a waste to not use those ports if we can.

Ok. I have seen your post about this and we have looked high and low on the Cisco Nexus documentation but couldn't find anything that said the uplink ports would under perform. We have also got some feed on another forum about performance issues with mixing 1GbE and 10GbE in the same storage pools.

Thanks for the input.
