Dell Equallogic Self Encrypting drives

I've searched all the documentation I can find but cannot locate anything to tell me  if the SEDs in the 6210XV are AES-256 or AES-128. Can anyone tell me ?

You're right.  There's not a lot of specific info out there, but that may be because it's dependent on the drive being used.  Standard SAS Enterprise drives from Dell now ship with AES-256 as per:

Thanks. This comes close to answering all my questions but doesn't specifically state AES-128 or AES-256 which is what I really need to know for my compliance team.

Thanks for the reply but I neglected to mention that my arrays are EqualLogic PS series arrays. This document only appears to cover SC series arrays. Do you know if there is a similar document for the PS series ?

No, you did say EQL, but I was trying to point out its not the array that determines the encryption supported, its the drives, and the Compellent uses the same drives as the EQL so if it says Dell Enterprise HDD does AES-256 it will be the same on the EQL.
