Good morning All, I would like to know the list of commands available to me to use to troubleshoot a Dell Equallogic member via serial cable when the storage lights are not flashing and the application and browser application are not available as well? Regards Teekash

Hello, There are many CLI commands that are documented in the CLI guide. Some triage commands are support level only. knowing the commands is not enough. Understanding what they mean is how you troubleshoot a problem. You can start with some basic CLI commands. If they array is down it might just say CLI> GrpName> member select MEMBERNAME show _____________________________ Member Information ______________________________ Name: PS6210E Status: online TotalSpace: 33.74TB UsedSpace: 1TB SnapSpace: 13.26GB Description: Def-Gateway: 100.85.224.1 Serial-Number: Disks: 24 CN-04FMJV-70821-34A-07GR-A00 Spares: 1 Controllers: 2 CacheMode: write-back Connections: 167 RaidStatus: ok RaidPercentage: 0.000% LostBlocks: false HealthStatus: normal LocateMember: disable Controller-Safe: disabled Version: V10.0.1 (R457114) Delay-Data-Move: disable ChassisType: DELLSBB4u24 3.5 Accelerated RAID Capable: no Pool: default Raid-policy: raid6 Service Tag: 2B739Y1 Product Family: PS6210 All-Disks-SED: no SectorSize: 512 Language-Kit-Version: de, es, fr, ja, ExpandedSnapDataSize: 13.4GB member select MEMBERNAME show controllers member select MEMBERNAME show disks My suspicion is something is amiss at the disk or RAID level. Preventing the array from completely booting up. Until that happens the drives and network will be down. Best option is to open a support case if you have a contract. If not you can try to open a one-time support call for a fee. Not all regions support this yet. Regards, Don
