Cancelling a member move to different pool

Hi Team,

We have 2 SANs in a pool and started moving SAN02 to a different pool for maintenance. The move got stuck at 5% for the past 12 hours. Thinking of cancelling the move and restarting it.

SAN01 - Dell EqualLogic PS4210 (Rack Mounted)

SAN02 - Dell EqualLogic PSM4110 (Blade Chassis)

What happens, if we cancel the move and restart it again? will it try to replace the data back as it was or will it just cancel as it is leaving the moved data in the current locations?

Hello, If you cancel the move it will move that 5% back to the source member SAN02. Are you also replicating volumes? Replication should be completed then paused before moving a member out of pool. Sometime network issues can cause vacates to stall as well. What firmware versions are on those members? Before attempting to restart the member move, I would open a support case and let them review the array diagnostics first. Regards, Don
