array reporting as a MD1200 instead of MD3200i and doesn't show service tag

Have you recently had any replacement parts inserted into your MD1200? Also is this a new install of an MD1200 or has the MD1200 been installed for a while and you just noticed that the system was showing as the wrong type?

Its an MD3200i, we had a midplane replaced sometime last year. I'm told the only way to resolve this is to have downtime and run some commands. Isnt there a work around the downtime?
