Trying to setup a zone so Servers and storage on 8 ports do not see traffic on the other 16

I hope I am approaching this properly.

Hardware EMC-DS300B 8/24P Switches (Connectrix DS-300B) Fabric OS 7.2.0b

I have activated all 24 ports and populated with 8gb Gbics (second switch same setup).

I am trying to consolodate 3 different sets of San attached Storage and Servers. I only want specific servers to see specific storage.

So I created 3 seperate Traffic Isolation zones, consisting of 8 ports per zone in attempting this.

Briefly read the 696 page admin manual, and I am not sure if it can be accomplished with U and F port devices. I am unable to "Enable" the Traffic Isolation zone (have tested with 2 servers and 1 set of storage and it can see the other set of servers/storage already on the switch).
