Trying something out - defaulting to Discussion View
I saw /javascript:; to see what's Unread to change to the Discussion View and look for the bold. We have /javascript:; in to increase visiblity of the unread items, but that first step might be easily addressed.
Most of our interactions are in the form of discussions, so why don't we default our view to discussions? I've done so in this space to see what you think. If you are still seeing the "Overview" appearance, with Popular Tags on the upper left, then refresh your browser. You should see the default view be discussions.
If you like this, we can roll it out across appropriate forums. There are times it's not appropropriate, expecially if there's plans to increase our use of Document (aka wikis) but those plans aren't in motion yet, so I think generally we could apply this.
Is it better?

Jorg - making you a little happier makes me a lot happier!
First, you can tell if you are watching a thread by how the Notification option appears in the action bar. You should see, for example, that this thread shows you this option:
The Overview/Discussions/Tags bar is removed when we default to the Discussion view, as the other tabs no longer work. That would be one of the reasons we might choose not to implement it. Do the pros outweigh the cons?

That's definitely better, IMHO.
If we could get larger icons to indicate the status of the thread, and last not least also the
feature we had earlier indicating that we actually were watching a particular thread, that would
help even more.
Regards
Jørg
PS.: But now I don't see the Overview/Documents/Tags tabs any longer?!

Hi,
took me some time to figure out this eMail crap. Look at your profile, Email notifications tab.
You'll find links to the thread you're looking at. Take a look at the last page, there you can find
general ones, I think they were called watches earlier. I guess you do have one for General Topics there?

Erin - so even if you filter on Community you don't show General Topics?
