I am new to storage area. I want to know , How can i start with storage learning?
I want to know the different certifications in SAN. and future scope..

If you’re only interested in SAN go to https://education.emc.com/part/certification/framework/sa/san.aspx. If you need to know about Storage as well click on Clariion, Symmetrix or VNX on the left to see what you need to do for that. The specialist track is usually sufficient for administrating existing storage arrays and SANs.

When we talk about scope. We can take an example from the Internet. The Web have spawned exponential growth in the amount of information needing to be stored, which no one could have imagined only a few years ago. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. of websites on the Internet are having a dramatic effect on data growth and the technology we need to store it all. The approximate data storage requirements double every couple of years, and there seems to be no end in sight to this rate of change.
