SR notifications
In notification list we are given possibility to select email and something called mobile device. So I selected mobile device and filled my number, but it complains with "Your Email Address must be in the following format: 123@xyz.com".
I guess this feature still doesn't work, right?

The mobile device option is a generic option which is used to send a truncated or smaller message. It is not SMS so when filling this in it needs to be the email address for the device. So for example, for a cell phone it would be the phone number with the appropriate carrier: 5555555555@verizonwireless.net for example.
We are reworking the notification section as part of our larger initiative here and we will be including SMS features so this option will be more useful in the future.
