Question about Content Stamps and xPression

Hello All,

I am not sure this is the correct place for this topic, but I could not find anywhere else to put to so ... I'll just go ahead.

I am using xPression 4.0 (though the customer is using xPression 3.0). Please find below what we are trying to accomplish and how do we fail so far:

1. We have a content stamp that appears on Page = TotalPagesInDocument - 2

2. We had to add another collateral page

3. We need to change the content stamp to TotalPagesInDocument - 3

4. We want to keep the old content stamp (because an end user might request a copy of an old statemet which should use the "old" content stamp

5. We try to do this by having 2 content stamps and an output variable (something like EffectiveDate but as an outputvariable) that should be used to determine which content stamp should be used (the variable is mapped to the appropriate database field). The name of the variable is oEffeciveDate

6. For that 1st content stamp we set a package rule: {$oEffectiveDate} >= 2011-07-15

7. And for the 2nd content stamp: {$oEffectiveDate} < 2011-07-15

8. We tried to use all kinds of date formats (20110715, 15.07.2011, ...) Nothing works

Can anyone provide any help?

Thanks,

Valentin
