Powerpath driver - device dump entry point has broken in 5.3

I am trying to write kernel extension on top powerpath disk in AIX. I found if one of the path fails , powerpath dump config routine fails with error even there is a good path. So Multipathing functionality has broken here. Any one knows is this a known problem ?.
