OME new 4.4 version
I just tried updating to 4.4.0.5 yesterday, and it hung on me for over 24 hours, I had to restore back to 4.3.2.49 (thankfully I created a checkpoint before I did). My question is, is this 4.4.0.75 trustworthy?

Hi, do you have 8 vCPUs configured under the OME appliance ? I had the same problem and when changed from 4 vCPUs to 8 vCPUs the upgrade process finished without any problems.

I've just encountered an issue upgrading from 4.3.2.49 to 4.4.0.75 also. Update has been stuck for about an hour and a half now. The Appliance itself appears to have upgraded to 4.4.0.75, although showed a lot of service failures upon restarting as part of the update process. The WebGUI interface is still showing "Installing the packages...". I've checked as per post above and this VM is already configured with 8 vCPUs so unfortunately hasn't helped my situation. Looks like there are issues with it. I've just rolled back to v4.3.2.49 also.

Thanks for your replies, kind of crazy how you've had the same issues. After 24 hours, I powered off my Virtual OME server, then restored back to the Checkpoint I created before (version 4.3.2.49) trying to upgrade. Then I successfully installed the upgrade a 2nd time, only taking about maybe 30 minutes. And I do have 8 vCPU's by the way.

Just as an FYI, in case others are having similar issues....
I've just attempted the upgrade again since I rolled back to v4.3.2.49, as per above NOCTech's comment, but I still encountered the exact same problem. I was seeing a raft of errors on the Appliance; Dependency failed for OME Database, Dependency failed for OME VBS Service, Failed to start Docker Application Container Engine. The Appliance hangs on these errors for several mins and then appears to boot up OK into v4.4.0.75 Main Menu and all appears well. The problem that appears then is the WebGUI just hangs on Some or all of the services are down until I F5 then it just hangs permanently on Installing the packages..... I've given it a couple of hours just in case it's a slow update but still the same. I've even rebooted the Appliance, even though it warns not to as currently in the upgrading process, and it goes through all the above once again.
I've rolled back again to v4.3.2.49 using the Snapshot and will stick to this version for now. There doesn't appear to be any new features or enhancements in this latest version that will benefit our Org for the time being, or indeed potentially cause issues to our current infrastructure by not upgrading. I hope others are more successful with their upgrades?!

Same issue here - had to roll back twice. Left it alone for over 24hrs with no progress.

In general I can't update dell appliances on a clustered host, in our case a HCI AX Node Cluster. I have to move the VM to a single host, update it and move it back. I don't know why but I found out the hard way with secure connect gateway several times and I find OME does it as well. I'm not sure if you're environments are the same, just thought I'd throw it out there.
