New webaddress for forum threads breaks old links!!!
Hello,
I hope i am in the correct place to post this.
EMC has changed the look and feel of the forums (yes again! but looks cool this time! ).
All's good EXCEPT now the links to other threads posted in replies of old forum topics dont work!
It would be nice if they had put a filter to parse and redirect the old address to the new ones...
I guess its not too much to ask for (ofcourse unless they totally changed the internal structure of forums and there is no true mapping from old address to new format )

Hi Soji,
I've moved your thread into our General Topics area, where we cover EMC-related things, including these forums.
I can't help but smile - the last change we made was integrating into Powerlink in October 2006, and the look and feel didn't change that time. It had last changed in May of 2006! Does it really feel like we just did it? To me it feels like it was so long ago!
We are looking into building a tool to automatically redirect the old forum links. I don't have an ETA on it yet, though - we need to scope out the effort first.
Your table looks great, btw!
