New 2TB Disks showing Faulted in AX4-5 DAE

We added a new expansion disk array enclosure to our AX4-5 storage system , but we have difficulty to add new 2TB Seagate SATA ll disks extension disks to the DAE .

We already installed latest version of Flare OE :  02.23.050.5.710

also , we tried to install Expansion Tier Enabler from CD shipped with the DAE enclosure but the installation process stops at 66 % saying : The specified software package is already installed.. (File name :  ExpansionTier_Enabler-01.01.5.001.ena )

the new HDD are showing Faulted in Navisphere express and an orange blinking arrow in DAE front.

Please advise

For questions regarding disk (and DAE support), please refer to the "Disk and FLARE OE Matrix" document for your model.  As an owner of an AX4-5i, the paper you would be interesteed in is: "AX4-5 Series Storage Systems Disk and FLARE OE Matrix".  This is available from Powerlink via the following breadcrumb trail:

Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Hardware/Platforms Documentation > CLARiiON AX Series Systems > CLARiiON AX4 > General Reference

Search for the drive part number, and you will see a footnote that this requires a minimum of FLARE: 02.23.050.5.707.  This will explain why the disks are not being recognized properly.
