Latitude 5520 inaccessible after updating to Dell-Command-Monitor_JD76W_WIN64_10.6.0.150_A00_01.EXE

Just dropping a line to see if anyone else has seen this?

We have about 330 5520 Latitudes, and around Oct 5th so of these machines that had auto update enabled (By mistake from techs doing troubleshooting) we had about 10 of those machines become unusable. While the OS would boot Win10 20H2 our customers were not able to access the system.

Going to remove 10.6 Dell Command | Monitor update for now, but it is listed as urgent.... Not sure if there is a BIOS prereq or anything for 10.6 Dell Command Monitor, and I'm haven't recreated on the bench but will try again tomorrow.

Log files from 4 systems all show this UpdateService\UpdatePackage\log Tell me this is installing

"
[Thu Oct 7 08:04:39 2021] Update Package Execution Started
[Thu Oct 7 08:04:39 2021] Original command line: "C:\ProgramData\Dell\UpdateService\Downloads\FOLDER07718574M\4\Dell-Command-Monitor_JD76W_WIN64_10.6.0.150_A00_01.EXE" /s /f
"

Then we get a call to the helpdesk...

We have seen this creep to a 5530 as well, not 100% if related but customer did state a dell update was ran after being prompted.

Want to see what i added to the config after setting them back to manual? dcu-cli.exe" /configure -lockSettings=enable ;D
