Keyboard lag and repeating keys XPS 8940; U3821 Monitor with KVM switch and KM7120 Keyboard & Mouse

I have a XPS 8940 with a U3821DW Monitor with the built in KVM switch and I'm using a KM7120W Keyboard and Mouse with the dongle (not using bluetooth). I have both the XPS 8940 connected via an HDMI cable and a laptop connected via a USB-C connector to the monitor.

I am experiencing CRAZY keyboard lag as as well as repeating keys.  It's not 100% of the time however. As I type this note it's working fine.  However just a few minutes ago I didn't see a thing I was typing on the screen for almost 15 seconds.  Keys wills stick and repeat and I'll get an entire row of T's or C's etc. It will last a few seconds to a few minutes and then go back to normal.

Entire system is new. BIOS was just updated a day or two ago (it was doing this BEFORE the BIOS update and that did not resolve it).

The keyboard works with both the desktop and the laptop just get the lag/repeating keys multiple times per day with both devices. It's driving me crazy!!

I'm experiencing the same issues, have done the most recent update to Windows 10 I don't have the same monitor, but do  have the same keyboard and mouse referenced. It's sporadic, but it SEEMS to happen mostly (maybe exclusively, not sure) when composing/typing emails on Yahoo. Was happening before the W10 update, but not as bad (I thought it was my poor typing ability), the W10 update seems to have worsened things. I experienced no typing issues writing this reply.

I'm having the same issues... it's super annoying when I'm trying to work on my computer...

I know the problem is the Dell 8940, because have switched my Logitech Keyboard to my old Dell, and there is no lag.

IS DELL GOING TO POST AN ANSWER TO THIS??????
