HOW TO INTEGRATE DATA DOMAIN DD160 WITH CLARION AX-150?

I have Clarion AX-150 with DL 710 which currenlty is end of life. Currenlty the soltuion is used VTL with networker backup solution . I was thiniking replacing the DL710 with data domain solution .I am stack on this and I am looking for information regarding this venture and if this plan is feasible?
