From Envision to Security Analytics (Parsers-UDS)
| I created some UDSs once,for EnVision, and i know the process from creation to deploy. |
| I've been checking Security Analytics for the same purpose, but i got confused with Netwitness parsers (and also feeds), which are supported by SA. But i dont get how these differentiate from EnVision UDS, because there exists Lua Parsers, flex parsers. Those have different objective or level where they are processed. Maybe Lua Parsers could replace EnVision UDS, but i Don't know that. |
I see Lua lang more versatile than EnVision XML based, because its kind of imposible adding logic to XML-based parser (UDS). I wish someone could help me understand this. |
