Employees Posting New Threads?

Question

Is anyone able to create a new post (discussion) ?

I cant see a button for example here in the Coffee Break Area

And if I use the "New2 drop-down on the top it pre-selects "MVP..." but when I try to select coffe break from the list it shows me that stop sign that I'm not allowed to post here ????

Hi Rainer,

our defaults have always been to not allow Employees to post new threads, but we extend those permissions for our power users and moderators. We missed some of these details in resetting the new permission level, so we'll fix that today.

We missed some of these details in resetting the new permission level, so we'll fix that today.Thanks for letting us know,Erich I thought at least in the Coffee Break area everyone was allowed to post a new thread For the other forums I think mid-term you should see if there isnt a way to allow employee's to post after an approval process On other forums there is a way that a post has to be approved before its visible to everyone I think there are some legitimate reasons for employee's to post like an announcement or if a product manager wants to ask the customers for feedback Rainer
