EMC VNX SANCOPY FULL (Pull feature)

HI,

We are peforming SANCOPY FULL migration of Ax4-5 to VNX with SANCOPY installed on both.

FULL SANCOPY FULL (Pull). It pulls data from CLARiiON or AX4-5 to VNX. Correct me if I am wrong.

1) I initiated FULL SANCOPY from VNX to CLARiiON with Storage Group of AX4-5 having VNX SANCOPY initiators logged in only.

2) Data from Ax4-5 did not get migrated to VNX. I could not see any AX4-5 data being migrated to VNX, however full session was completed on the VNX.

3) So I performed a test to check what exaclty is the issue. I added few data on VNX LUN by creating some filesystem on the host. Then Peformed

FULL SANCOPY from VNX to Ax4-5. Saw the VNX data was inturn present in AX4-5.

4) Can you please let me know if FULL SANCOPY is only performed on non-EMC Storages?

FULL SAN COPY Migration is not Pulling DATA from Ax4-5 to VNX . Its rather replication data from VNX to AX-4-5. The test conducted on the host by creating Filesystem. OS is SOLARIS

Same issue is with CLARiiON to VNX SANCOPY FULL.

The below link has procedure for incremental not full copy. Only the difference between Pull and Push is mentioned in the below document.

No issues with Incremental SANCOPY it Works fine.
