DX 16652 Error when attempting to delete an extended drive.
Greetings all,
I get this error when trying to delete an extended drive.
XERR_MEDIA_POOL_INVALID_APPLICATION (16652)
"Media pools may only be deleted by applications that own them."
There are no folders or media groups. Also, there are no allocated tapes to the drive. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
Brian

Hi Brian
If the folders or media groups were deleted earlier ED (extended drive) can be deleted without issues. Else try deleting the registry entry and restart the machine.
Note: we need to be very careful and make sure the data available on the drive is not needed anymore, Once deleted the data on ED cannot be recovered.
Regards,
