Documentum Dev Edition on Virtualized (!) Win XP SP3 won't install!

Hi,

I'm really struggling on installing this piece of software on a dedicated virtual machine:

- .NET 2.0

- XP SP3 (without that XML Core Services SP2 thing, at least my Windows Clean Up Install utility says so!)

- jre 1.5 update 22 (with jre 1.6 the result is the same)

- no prevoius MSSQL/EMC software installed

I'm pretty sure the problem is here (I'm installing using an installer that resides in a shared folder of the guest system!):

C:\Documentum\mssql\setup\dmodbcset.exe -r DOCUMENTUMDB

How can I overcome this problem? The host system is Vista... so I can't install on it :/
