Dell EMC SAS SSD "BLOCKED", on both r740/h740p & r540/h730p
Hey All,
I am using 800GB SAS MZ-ILT800A PM1645 DELL EMC 2.5" Enterprise SSD MZ-ILT800AHAHQ drives manufactured by Samsung. All drives are showing "Blocked" on two different servers I've tried, - Poweredge R740 with perc h740p (all latest firmware installed via Lifecycle controller), as well as Poweredge R540 w/ perc h730p (latest firmware). I am using the proper 14th gen caddies, 2.5" in the r740, and 3.5" in the r540. I have also used the Nautilus Firmware Update Utility via usb drive, and all SAS drives were shown to have the latest firmware available.
I must be using incompatible drives, or they somehow are not initialized?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you going to use these with Windows or Linux? If you are I believe the 520 block size will not work. Is there a way to change it to 512 with the Nautilus Firmware Update Utility? These are being sold on Ebay right now and the seller doesn't tell you what the block size is.

as per my understanding, the Drives seem unsupported do check the compatibility matrix before proceeding with any upgrade.
