Connecting Blade Chassis to MDS Switches
Hello,
Can some one help me out connecting the HP Blade to the MDS Switch.
what needs to be taken care before we connect each of them, also is the process same for connecting to Brocade switches ?

what are you running in the HP Blade enclosure ..what kind of switch/pass-though ? I enabled NPIV on my MDS and NPV/Access Gateway on blade enclosure switches.

9509 must be your core switch , what kind of switch is in the enclosure itself ?

Hi Dynamox,
here are the details
OS- Linux
HP - Blade - BL460c
Switch - Cisco 9509.
will look into the NPIV and NPV stuff.
