CMDCE -> ConnectEMC -> ESRS call home
We are trying to set up call home via CMDCE to ConnectEMC to ESRS.
The communication from ConnectEMC to ESRS works and we can send a test-event successfully from ConnectEMC.
But the communication from CMDCE and ConnectEMC does not Work, test-events generated in CMDCE never gets to ConnectEMC and I get a log entry every 10 minutes in CMDCE with the text "FAILED: could not send the event(s) to the EMC".
CMDCE and ConnectEMC runs on the same Host.
Any suggestions where to look?

Hi DAN,
I'm in the same situation. I open a SR but support cannot answer because it is in brocade side.
I found that CMDCE cannot communicate with ConnectEMC.
I'm waiting for answer from Brocade and if my configuration works, I'll write a new answer to you.

Have you tried to configure CMDCE to E-mail the esrs gateway? The ESRS gateway should have a SMTP server setup on it to receive dial home events that way as well.

Hi robert,
My customer does want to install an ESRS gateway.
Then I just have a server with CMDCE and EMConnect.
I configured EMConnect to send EMail.
I try now to find how CMDCE could send something to EMConnect.

Why not configure CMDCE to send the e-mail direct to the ESRS Gateway? Its the same file EMCConnect would be transferring.
