bug? cannot "search by user" for my own posts?

Hi all,

when I see my profile, I get a list of 10 recent posts. I click on the "see all user's posts", but the search comes up empty.

In fact, I can search for other people's posts (I randomly tried 2 other users), but not my own.

What's up with that?

Fred,

I can take a look at this, but I probably won't be able to address it until the beginning of December as I am in the middle of a critical project.

Is this urgent or can it wait until then?

looks like your username has changed? If I use this query

http://forums.documentum.com/jive3/search!execute.jspa?q=fred&objID=f2&dateRange=all&userID=&numResults=15

It returns your post but under user;

fhabils

aha

well, there was a mess with my account creation.
First I self-registered as "frederik" for a "new company", then my boss created "fhabils" under the newly created company account, and then I asked the support guys to delete the "frederik" I self-registered, and to rename the "fhabils" account to "frederik".

Seems like forum search got confused by all that.

nice thinking, thanks for the hint.

Thanks Dianna,

I reopened the "case" I had made to re-arrange my accounts, and am working with Support on it. With no success for the moment. I will post updates.

Update: My case was transferred by my support contact to Dianna. Waiting for Dianna's availability in December.

EDIT : eeuuh, whoops?

I just checked the search again, and it's already fixed? Nobody mentioned any intervention, so maybe it got fixed by itself, or because of the CustomerNet site upgrade.

Anyway, will close this Support Thread by marking Dianna's as the correct answer.

Hi Fred,

I was just revisiting this post to determine what the problem is, and I see that the problem has been fixed. I believe that the problem was with another bug that was fixed and it then trickled down to fixing this issue at the same time.

Thank you for your patience while I had to put your issue on hold for the Customernet upgrade that I was working on.
