Ability to search old SR and finding site IDs


Hi All.

When we were using powerlink as the support site, I used to be able to search old SRs for problem strings.  Since migrating to support.emc.com, I no longer have this functionality.  I'm now logging a lot more support calls because of this (I used to solve about 80 % of my problems by using this capability).  Now, I'm only solving those that I've seen before - so I'm down to solving about 20% of problems.

Did anyone else ever use this method?

Is there any way of getting the functionality back again?

Secondly, the other thing that I used to be able to do is if I didn't know a site ID, I used to be able to do a wild card search on the customer name.  How do I do this in support.emc.com.  I've tried the two standard wild cards (i.e. % of *).  Neither of these worked for me.  Now if I'm on site where I don't know the party ID and I have a problem, it can sometimes take several hours to find someone that knows the site ID so I can then log a support request.

Very frustrating
