XPS 12 Ultrabook - Windows 7 Compatible?

I don't see options for any OS other than Windows 8 on the web site, and there is no Windows 7 driver cab available, but page 7 "Before You Begin", in the owners manual refers to Windows 7. Is the XPS 12 Ultrabook Windows 7 compatible?

Having just finished our Windows 7 deployment, and still on ConfigMgr 2007 for probably at least another 6 months, we are in no position for Windows 8 devices at this time.

If not, are there any plans for a Core i5 based tablet? All the ones I see on the Dell site are Atom based and 32 bit only.
