Windows XP image for Optiplex 745 error STOP 0X7B

Hi,

I have a MDT 2010 update 1 with SCCM 2007 R2 SP2. I\m creating a new Windows XP SP3 image to deploy on different Dell computer/laptop, but I have a big problem for Dell Optiplex 745. I have many of these computers and the image need to work on this.

I have created a Windows XP SP3 image with all updates on Hyper-V server without integration drivers or physical computer driver. I have run Sysprep without sysprep.inf with option -mini -reseal. I have imported this image in SCCM OSD and I have created a MDT client task sequence.

I have added all drivers for Windows XP with Apply drivers packages by computer model using a WMI query. I have added for injection the mass storage drivers by drivers packages also using WMI. The drivers package are created by Dell Client Deployment Pack 1.2.

The image work on Optiplex 760/780/790, Latitude E6400/E6410/E6500/E6510, but doesn't work with Optiplex 745. I after applying the OS package and injected drivers, the image fail with STOP 0x7b. I have remove the apply drivers section completely from my TS with same result. I know if I try to install XP from CD on this computer, I don't need drivers for HD.

What is wrong ?

Steve

Have you tried the Desktop Combo cab for XP? It has been tested on the 745.
