What is the meaning of "This release is for DUP ONLY"

DUP = Dell Update Package which is different from the previous "zippack" installers.  If you are manually installing a driver, it shouldn't matter which format it is in.  But if you are extracting the drivers, the extraction function is different.

You should use the Driver CABs to do that as they are already extracted and ready for import into MDT.  Otherwise, you will have to manually extract the drivers from the DUP for MDT to use them.

the cabs have extracted drivers only, so the installer (DUP, zippack) has been stripped off and is now irrelevant.
