Very slow restart on Dell APS8700
Every time I try a restart on my 8700, it goes through shut down quickly and then when the Dell logo appears, It beeps once and then sits with no visible activity for about 4 to five minutes before it wakes back up and continues the restart. This drives me crazy. I'm sure there is a registry entry error, but I don't know where to look to fix this. The 8700 is a fine computer otherwise except for the very slow 5700 RPM Seagate Drive. Ireally wish I had at least a 7200 RPM drive. I've seen a lot of reports on Google from others with the same restart problem I have, but I haven't seen a fix for it.
